Q&A

What is your approach to medicine and working with patients?
I am an early adopter using the most recent research to offer state-of-the-art testing and treatment for cardiovascular disease. With this information it’s possible to make a shared decision with my patients on a treatment plan that fits their individual needs. Medicine offers never-ending education and I like to bring and discuss the latest science to my patients so we can tailor their care to meet their goals.  Our practice rethinks contemporary cardiac care delivery.

How long have you lived in Boise? What do you love about living and working here?
I’ve lived here for 22 years and love the access to the outdoors, friction-free living, sunshine, and four seasons.

Tell us about your family!
I met my wife, who is a health care provider, in the hospital. We have a large blended family with 6 kids and their significant others scattered around the globe.

What are your hobbies? Where will we find you on the weekends?
Cycling, nordic skiing, playing jazz saxophone/guitar/keyboards, traveling and learning. On the weekends, you can find me exploring new trails, traveling with friends and family and enjoying anything active.

Any community connections or activities you'd like to highlight?
I have done medical mission trips to Peru and Honduras as well as teach and lecture to local healthcare providers, medical students, and residents.
